If I had myy way, this would be my new house. Built into a hillside, home at the top of the hill, hangar and runway below. In the Carolinas.

That was the only drill of any kind in my house growing up. I think I was 10 before my dad got even a corded electric drill. You can do a hell of a lot with a hand drill.

My initial reaction was drool, but the more I look at it, the more it seems...In-elegant? Overly busy? Trying just a bit too hard? I'm not sure exactly. It's less sophisticated grace, and more aggressive scoops and gills. Granted, we're grading on the Aston Martin curve here. It's still a handsome car.
It's all been down hill since the DB9 (there, I said it)
I think the downward trend started a bit earlier:
Been a while since I've had a good post whore. Here are some pics from Eye's on Design at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford house on Fathers day.
Totally new on on me, completely unaware of these until the show. Kinda cool if you ask me.
This is another new one. It's a 1967 GLAS 3000GT.
I love early Avanti's. So much better looking than the later covered light ones with the reprofiled front fenders and infinitely better than the 80;s/90's/00's 'Continuation' ones. Ugh, they are awful.
A Daimler Limo. Note for the uneducated Daimler is a British car company nothing to do, and much older than that upstart company Daimler Benz who own Mercedes Benz. Pimp like a Royal.
Who said cars and SUV's have grown larger over the last 1/2 century?
Complete with my mom! for scale
And some other wagons
This was cool and surprising. FIAT allowed some of their concept cars to be seen with the production based version. I didn't snap them all, but guess my fave?
A co-worker here at Ford, Eric Stoddard designed the Crossfire. That's his personal car in the background.
