Hard to follow that cool bus!
Ok, I am sure it looks like I just built some pipe bombs, but I swear they are Polar Bear Tubes! (Not for insertion in said bear)
This is a project I read on the internet. They are ice packs that you can size to fit your cooler. These will lay on the bottom and food/tasty beverages go on top. I still use regular frozen water bottles and regular cube ice too, but these will serve to keep everything above the melted ice, while helping it to stay cooler in my cooler. These are filled to about 75% full with salt brine, which should be colder than regular ice once frozen. They are curing now, tomorrow they go in the freezer.

I like this idea.
I almost never use ice in my coolers. We get the commercial cold packs every week with our vaccine order. I keep lots of them in my freezers at home.
When the bags break open, I throw them away. Now I can salvage the contents.

Good thinking! I plan on making a few pillow packs using water and isopropyl alcohol too, because being squishy they work great for filling air gaps in the cooler. All of our commercial packs busted before I got my foodsaver. I could have saved the contents in a foodsaver bag (seal without vacuum). Yet another non-food use for my trusty foodsaver.

I plan on using the game saver bags, they're supposed to be stronger than the regular ones. We'll see how they hold up

I'm thinking of trying toilet paper Pykrete in tubes like this. Apparently the pulp slows the thawing considerably. Related pic below.

You went to the truck show and didn't call me?
In reply to 914Driver :
It was short notice, by the time we got there yesterday everyone was packing up and leaving.
The Wife picked this up to go with her Christmas village. She actually said “I wonder why they didn’t spell Cruiser with a K too.” It took longer than it should have to explain why this would be poor marketing.

See if Nutri-lock has an equivalent. Their bags are a third the price of FoodSaver brand, I found them on Amazon. And they're friendly.
I like the expandable bags for large cuts of meat and clothes. Cheapest I've found name brand were $40 for 2 18 foot rolls. Nutrilock sold me 2 50 foot rolls for $44.
