I like this pic because the stands scare me.
Piquet who? Standoffish team environment which is fine. Ex-F1 driver. But to be honest I didn't have the cajones to jump over the rope and traverse 20-30ft just to tell him I idolized his father as a small child watching F1. Admittedly I idolized them all. Having said that this was the greatest downfall of GRC. Open Paddock. And aside from Lasek. Not 'open' people. Also they charged premium paddock access then let everyone walk through what was essentially a ghost town first year they were here.
Crap. Now I have to go to the fair. I was hoping NOT TO, as I'm trying to bench build this 454 into the truck I'm buying while staying under Challenge budget.
It's taking a lot of thought cycles.

Is that a transfer case I see poking out the back? These things are mid engine AWD? I want to know more!

Go to the fair. Bring children. Indoctrinate them in awesome vehicles. I still remember my father lifting me up to see inside an HSR Chevette during roadside service competing in a Circuit of Ireland thinking it was a rocket ship.

alas and alack GRC is no more but that first year and even subsequent years you could get close enough to take pics.
that example i'm almost sure is one of the junior class vehicles from 2015 I think.

I hate the fair, though. It's a money sink with far too many people.

Yeah, you say that now, but what about the opportunities for motion sickness and really bad food?
