Cleetus in Leroy has an 8.612 average in the Stick Shift class, putting him in the lead by .64 seconds. He hasn't had any major issues, other than tossing alternator belts every pass. So they've just been taking off the belt every run. Brent also discovered on like the 4th day of racing that the intercooler pump was not operating for an uncertain amount of time.
James in Ruby is in the lead of the 8.50 class with an 8.5838 average, with second at an 8.6746. A couple of days he did "one and done", showed up and ripped off an 8.5x, and left. The other day they had axle bolts rattle loose and sheared off the axle bolts, which caused a bit of a panic, but they got fixed. They also had a weird transmission issue that they couldn't figure out and only happened once.
Cooper is in 6th in the 11.00 class with an 11.1628 in the VMP Superchargers GT500. He hasn't been having any troubles, just airing down the tires and removing his trash from the car and making a pass.
