    I didn't read the story behind the headline, so I would guess there is more to this than candles can burn your house down...I also didn't provide a link for the same reason.

    But "candles being recalled for being a fire hazard is about as obvious as climbing big trees can lead to falls.

    Is it just me, or is the Yahoo.com news section getting it's stories from last night's newscasts?

    I need a better homepage.

    They are the little "tea" candles. And the manufacturer put them in plastic cups rather than the usual aluminum ones.

    If the cup gets hot enough it melts and the burning wax goes everywhere

    Don't you know that DiHydrogen Monoxide is used in EVERYTHING and kills 1000's of people a year?

    Well, when the candle is stupidly designed so the whole thing can go up in a large ball of flames, I'd go along with the recall.
