Oh yeah did you guys see that they remade "Death Race"? It is suppose to be released this summer. http://www.deathracemovie.net/
Oh I also forgot the Tokyo Freeway Speedway movies...all 6 of them boy are they bad. Especially the first couple talk about 80's nastiness 
Just watched Vantage Point and it had a pretty decent car chase through Mexico City (supposed to be Spain).
As much as I like the racing scenes in Grand Prix, I didn't really like the rest of the movie. The long drawn out love plot was realllyyy boring. 
Bullitt has obviously one of the best chases obviously, but I think Le Mans is the best car movie I've seen. Simply because it focuses on the car's and the race for pretty much the whole movie.

Looks like a made for DVD documentary about the infamous transcontinental racing record set in the 80's, (since beaten by Alex Roy), whom from what I can gather has something to do with the making of this film.
