I've seen a few folks on here post about bands that i enjoy so i figured there may be a few of you interested in my band. If any of you were ever into indie, punk, hardcore, post hardcore or emo you may be familiar with some of our previous bands. Frontier(s) is ex members of Elliott, Stay Gold, Mouthpiece, The Enkindels. These are rough mixes of a few songs we recorded. http://www.myspace.com/frontiersband

Nice. If you ever need an opener, or want to play in Evansville, let me know. These are old/crappy recordings, as we've electrified a bit more since then.

REALLY good.
I love that melodic post-hardcore sound.
The singer sounds almost EXACTLY like the singer from Sparta (Jim Ward) and the vibe is very Sparta/Jawbox/Fugazi-esque.
Really good, though. It doesn't sound like hacky, half-assed, crap (as I was expecting
)
Props.

...just saw that Quicksand is in your top friends. This makes perfect sense.
Great influence to have.
I always thought that Jim Ward sounded like a cross between Ian MacKaye and Walter Shreifels.

Legit stuff to be inspired by. The songwriting is rock solid.
Give a heads up as to when you have some downloadable mp3s (that aren't on itunes).
I'll gladly throw a few bucks your way.
