Oh, one of the guys was wearing a dosimeter. He reports 0.004mSv the first day, 0.008mSv the second day (when we were at the reactor and the really hot stuff) and 0.004mSv the last day. (1 mrem =0.01mSv) So roughly 0.016mSv total
By comparison, during their flights airline crews typically get an extra dose on the order of 2.2mSv (220 mrem) per year... a single coast to coast flight is about 0.03 mSv. So it's likely I got four times the radiation flying there and back as I actually got while there...
We all receive an average around 3mSv annually from "normal" background.
Also by comparison a chest x-ray is 0.1 mSv and a CT ranges from 7.0mSv to about 15 mSv.
