Of course it's only 92k. That's not a greyed out "1" you see - the odo really just has an empty spot there. I wish I was in Atlanta - I want to see this one with my own eyes.

I mean, seriously, what kind of story gets told on the lot to explain this?

Guess they better sell it before it gets another 7425.7 miles, or they'll need more black Sharpie.

What I find sad about this situation is that they'd probably get asking price if the "1" weren't blacked out.

"Cash Offers and Trades Aggressively Accepted" gotta love the sales lingo.

Not that uncommon to have a 5 digit odo back then, I drove a 93 ranger that I rolled over 100k to all zeros

Someone needs to tell the guys at Cobalt Motors that an odometer NEVER has a blank space....there's either a " 0 " or some other number. IF this was an example of a legit odo, ALL analog odometers would have been blank/blacked out from the factory.

What bugs me about ads like this is that I often see cars on CL with "only XX,XXX.X miles, when the picture shows a really ratty/worn out vehicle. Like you are supposed to accept the fact that the odometer hasn't rolled over at least once.

Or how about the guys (kids mostly, ricers more mostly) that list the miles as the miles they believe their swapped in engine has instead of what's on the car itself.

Or that you need to be concerned about the mileage and not the vehicle's condition.

I'll take a nice 300k car over a ratty 80k car any day.

Strizzo, look carefully. You can still see the 1.

They at least list it as 192k in the add at the top. Looks like they figured it out as well.

Looks like the 1 is in shadow.

They changed the ad this morning - it was 92k in the writing last night. That's ok - the CL title still screams "Low Mileage Original"

Did the original ad list it as 92k? Cause the ad that's up now definitely says 192.
