It must be the best satnav ... in the world:

TomTom GO LIVE Top Gear edition

Some say the Stig would probably give you a faster route, but you'd never hear it.

No, this is not a canoe. I use a Magellan. With some bossy woman's voice.

I change it to the sexy UK woman. She probably looks like that UK Olympic Skeleton Luger.

    Yea, she gets down.

Does this cause your GPS to make snide "Fat American" comments when asking it to route you to the closest McDonald's?

    Because it should.

It would tell you to put cheeeeese on it, whatever you order.

We'll never know. The BBC has axed the plan because it violates a conflict of interest rule.

Not so fast bubba. The BBC put the chop on this and they only made a few thousand. All of the proceeds are now going to charity. If you want it, you better get it quick.

At least it isn't Captain Slow. Though you might get to see parts of the world you've never seen before.

I would think that Hammond on cocaine from the Bolivian special would be hilarious, but eventually you'd end up rolling the car down a sand dune to shut him up.

Oooh, maybe if it has a Performance Meter, Clarkson could critique the handling of the car..... POWaaaaaaa!

    I would prefer Sabin Schmidtz.

    Jeremy Clarkson’s helpful voice

Let the soothing, helpful voice of Jeremy Clarkson guide you effortlessly to your destination

Is it just me or did everyone read that in clarkson's voice?

I miss the customization on Tom Tom. My Garmin has nothing. And it directed me up a washed out state land trail, luckily I was in a 4x4 truck at the time.

Some say that it actually comes with two voices, but if you set it to "The Stig" only your dog will understand.

Unless Tom Tom has changed things you can use the audio from Top Gear episodes make your own Clarkson voice. All you need to do is find episodes with appropriate dialogue

I'm not a huge fan of navigation systems, but I suppose that if I could get one that gives me directions in Ozzy's voice, I would enjoy it.

I was able to download additional voices and icons on my Garmin, and it's an old unit.
