Well, it won't be as good as the novel. There's just too much going on that they're going to have to leave out.
I'm just hoping it does the novel justice. If it does, it will be pretty incredible. My biggest concern is that they'll change the mood of the story, or just focus on the who-done-it aspect, and not the fractured psyches of the characters.
Super hero movies tend to be about the action and grandiosity. Watchmen will need to be about the characters and their compulsion to press on despite all reason.
