    It's just been snowing. Again.

OK, so down here at only 4900' it's not sticking but I'm so not looking forward to driving to work tomorrow.

In case someone was wondering about the headline, all this wonderful weather is coming in from NorCal as we're on the East Side of the Sierra Nevada.

So much for grilling outside, Ann's got serious withdrawal symptoms.

Sorry, sorry. Totally my fault...I bought a '90 RX7 yesterday in San Ramon to pull the engine for my '91 Miata. Pondering a $2011 Rotary Miata. I think h- e-double-l was threatening to freeze over.

I'll try to give you fair warning before I actually do the transplant!!

on a related note, could someone turn off the faucet over Michigan? Poured all weekend and while dry today, next 5 call for more rain.

Well, it could've been worse - you could have detailed one of your cars . That would probably ensure a very wet summer.

I attended a local session by Griots Garage on detailing on Saturday, and bought one of their detailing kits with the Porter Cable polisher and polishes. It rained on Sat., we got records rain on Sunday and it's supposed to rain every day this week here. WTF was I thinking?!

Don't know why you guys are complaining... the weather was PERFECT for autocross on Saturday... well, other than the track being so cold my tires didn't heat up properly 'til my 5th or 6th run.

But, all day, top down, no sunscreen, and no sunburn.

We won't talk about the season opener in MN two weeks ago. day 1 featured snow, sleet, rain and upper 30's, day two featured 20+mph winds and a total temp (figuring windchill) of 5. I think my car temp read a high of 34 that day. It was a mess.

I went to Harbor Freight yesterday to snag some car dollies to put the RX7 on... I pulled into the parking lot and it started hailing. Another sign from above that this engine shouldn't be put in a Miata??

@BoxheadTim: Good point. I never wash/detail my cars for just this reason! :D

Or the reverse, if the body of the RX7 got hail damage .

I'm loving the weather down here in the south. Sorry the rest of you are suffering, but it could stay like this year round and I wouldn't mind. High 70s during the day, mid to low 60s at night. It doesn't get any better than that.

It didn't make it above 60 today here. Mississippi in May and we didn't make that. Talk about freaky.

    I was in Las Vegas last week. It was 57 degrees F and raining. . . . . .

The same day North Bay, On, Canada (where I am from) was 72 degrees F and sunny.

Maybe the environment is upset that another gas/oil burning rotary may be going back on the road? I say fight back, get a turbo for the thing!

Ohio has had sun THREE DAYS in May!? The forecast looks like 3 more days of sun in the bottom half of the month. Can anyone beat 6 days of partial sun in a month? It's also been in the 40's this week.
