My two boys and a friend brought this home from Mid Ohio (mine are on the ends). It is the front from the number 161 APR Motorsports GTI, the drivers even signed it for them. Now I have to find a way to hang it in the garage. Anyone have any ideas?

I see that I can not spell Decorating, oops.

What does the inside of your garage look like? Is there anything like a tall cabinet on which you could just set it?

Framing wire connected to a few ceiling hoops? Maybe connect them to the original mounting brackets, if they are present in any form?

"L" - shaped shelf brackets screwed to studs + zip ties = under $10 and under 10 minutes.

Go back to Ohio and get the hood, then mount the whole thing as if it's driving down the wall toward the tool box. Put some working LED headlights in it so you have lighting over your tools. DONE.

I think I may have all of that already, that just might work.

Or get a couple of bike hooks and space em on the wall so it rests in the holes where the turn signals used to be.

Guessing it doesn't weigh anything, and I'm sure there are a couple brackets on the back. Use wire, hang from two picture hooks spaced a foot or so apart so it's nice and level. Seems silly to go putting 10 holes in the wall and screwing into studs when the thing only weighs 10 lbs. or less.

Why in the garage? Surely, Mrs RBS wouldn't mind that hanging in the family room.

Hang with wire like previously stated, but install "fog light"-like lights and have it point down towards your work bench or work area. Extra points for using the old school floor switch for high beams or the pull style switch.

Thinking about this last night I am thinking about putting up a shelf, hanging the clip from the shelf and putting some lights behind it.

Thanks for all the ideas. Hplefully I can get it done this weekend, if I can decide on something.

On a side note, I have only really been into racing for the last 12 years or so and I am constantly inpressed with how nice most of the people I meet are. When the boys were looking at the clip in the trash can the team manager came over and asked them if they wanted it. They couldn't decide at first so I said we would think about it and we went ans looked at more cars, the 3 year old loves to watch the teams pack everything up especially when the cars are loaded up. Anyway, the kids decided they wanted it so we went back pulled it out and started to leave when the manager came over again and said he was going to have the drivers sign it. They were busy trying to get packed up and out of there so it was cool that they took the time to come over and talk with the boys.

I will post pics when I get it done and if anyone from the APR team is reading this thanks.
