Tons of travel and food. Other than having to be an adult and go to work tomorrow, everything is good.

There do seem to be some short tempers.

It's all good in my world. I accomplished absolutely nothing this weekend. Twenty five people in my parents house for 4 days. Great to get all my siblings and their kids in one place.

Three turkeys, a ham, two monster Gottard Specials (kind of like a lasagna, but with spaghetti noodles), three sausage and egg casseroles, 4 bags of oysters, 10 pounds of shrimp, plus all the fixings that go with it, and desserts galore. I'm scared to step on the scale.

I had to go into work Wednesday evening at 6pm and got off at 9:30 Thursday morning. Then back to work at 6pm Thursday night. Was supposed to be a holiday. Not the best Thanksgiving for me. So much for the new job being 7am-3pm M-F.

I put 87 octane in my turbo miata.

The resulting comedic thread i posted didn't turn out to be half as amusing as i thought it would be.

I put my mom in a home on Thursday. It's only temporary, but watching her eat a chicken patty on a bun for Thanksgiving dinner really bummed me out.

I had a very nice Thanksgiving with my family. Great food if a little too much of it.

I intentionally stayed away from the stores. I'll gladly pay more to avoid having to rub elbows with a bunch of slimy, aggressive bargain hunters.

I spent Thanksgiving with my wife.

    Enough said.

But I'll try and leave it off the board.

I spent T-day at the g/f's parents house. She spent Fri & Sat there working on Christmas decorations. I returned to her house to continue renovation work. She arrived Sat night and bitched about how little I got done... and other than cleaning and putting up Christmas decorations here, has sat on the effing couch while I worked... I did get some stuff done, but not as much as I'd hoped.

I sure hope this renovation gets done before I swallow a shotgun shell...

I broke my (wimpy) press trying to change out the bushing throughout the rear of my E36.

Shocks I bought thinking I had a regular E36 are 2" longer than the shocks I took off indicating I do indeed have a sport model.

Washing maching blew a seal at the bottom of the tub, wetting the belt, causing it to slip and make wonderful bunt rubber smoke fill the house before it is noticed.

But it is still better than a day in the office!!

I spent mine with my wife and it couldn't have been better. But I won't brag on where we spent the last week.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't extra relaxed.
