I got back last night from a week away--a few days in New York to see friends (and Iron Maiden) followed by a new car introduction in Colorado. So, did I miss much while away?

You missed the Apocalypse but we handled it.

The answer is no longer "Miata".

Wow, go away for a week and so much changes.

By the way, here's a pic from our trip.

    Well ....

I got a line on a cabover Dodge.

JG has spent half his life in your life.

    CarKid is Miataless.

    Margie's extending the patio.

    It's been real hot.

The hot-link thread has its own life now. You can't stop it

Sometimes I really have a life and can't be here 24/7.

    Sometimes.....

Looks like one Helluva new car intro...

So how's Maiden sounding? Haven't gone to see them for a long time.

Maiden sounded awesome, and the set list ranged from the upcoming album back to their early days.

Funny, I go to NYC in a few days. I'm gonna try and see Mike Rowe at the Exploder reveal. Then it's off to DC to nerd out on the good ole US of A.

I already miss New York. I could wander its streets forever. This time we stuck to midtown, the financial district and a bit of China Town. We also took the Circle Line--good stuff--and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Is that what you were doing when Tim found you? Is that as close as you could get to the stage, or all the further you run from the speakers?
