Call it in,they roll the dough, sprinkle the cheese, what nots, and wrap it in Saran Wrap. You get it on an ovenable tray, raw.

It's not food, it's groceries, no tax.

No ovens to heat, less overhead. No State health inspectors as seen in restaraunts.

What could be hotter and fresher than one coming out of your own oven?

    For example: Medium $8 Large $9 X Large $10

Chicken Parm: Chicken, ricotta, marina, mozzarella

Buffalo Chicken Bacon: Buffalo chicken, bacon, carmelized onions.

Meat Lovers: Ham, pepperoni, bacon, sausage, mozzarella.

Seafood: Shrimp, clams, garlic sauce, white or red sauce.

    Etc. etc. etc. ....

This was done by a local guy, not a chain. I only throw this out for you Mega Business proletarians that want to break out into your own business. I guess it could be done in your home.

I am not a canoe by the way, just a consumer.

    Sounds like this:

    http://www.papamurphys.com/

Of course this is a chain. We have a few of these by me.

Our local pizzerias will kick Dominos pizza any day. Gotta love that real Wisconsin cheese, none of that fancy schmancy California crap here.

The only way the "You take and bake" pizza joints work is if you have a really hot oven and a baking stone.

    Otherwise the crust SUCKS.

If they're in Arkansas, it ain't a new idea. Oh, and wally world sells a pizza baker pan that has holes in it and makes the crust pretty nice. No, it's not a "pizza stone," which I didn't even know existed until a PBS show on making pizzas showed one, but it still does a nice job, stores easy and was only a few bucks.

    Meh....

I may be the only one to admit it, but I like a thin-crust, double pepperoni from DOMINOs once or twice a year.

I like Dominos thick crust, extra pepperoni and hot wings. Yeah, I'm a cheap date.

Coming from Chicago, eating the best pizza in the world, Dominos is only acceptable if it is free, or if the eater is inebriated.

I like Dominos. And I'm a sizable part Italian. Places like that are good, but I'll take a real pizza any day. That said, the real pizza places will kick its ass. The best pizza in the world is the original, made with real ingredients.

As an added value to my post, in these difficult times, I often order Pizza Hut with anchovies and pineapples. Ponder that.

I work in a pizza place... I actually see anchovies with pineapple every now and again.

I've had people ask me what the hell I was ordering when I called up for it. I always liked fish a lot, especially salty fish, so I figured I'd try it on pizza. I'm not a very picky eater, so the worst case scenario would be that I pick em off. I liked them, so I got it every once in a while. I decided to take a part of my usual Hawaiian and put pineapples on it and it turned out good. If you're buying pizza and you don't want to share, order that. Never had anyone ask for a slice.

I would be that guy that asked for a slice.

Whenever I want pizza I go to the by-the-slice place near school. A thick slice of pepperoni and three rolls with garlic and marinara totals $4 and a quarter, and it fills me up.

GRM Pizza stone. Free to cheap. Construction time, about an hour.

Swing by your local granite/marble counter top store. They always have broken ones around. The last place said take it, other wise he has to haul it to the dump. An old Skil saw and a masonry blade will cut it to size in short order. Use a belt sander with a silicon oxide belt to dress the edges. Cure it on the grill to make sure it doesn't have any sealers in it. Makes great pizza. If you grill will get hot enough, try doing a pizza in it. It adds a interesting flavor to the pizza. They need to cook at about 500 degrees, and you need to preheat the stone with the oven.

My brother in law, father and I made 4 of them in assorted sizes. Two of them were granite, and two of them were marble.
