No E36 M3, I had a lady with an '87 Buick flag down a passerby, said she couldn't get out of her car because the power locks wouldn't work. The passerby called the po po, when they got there it took them a while to convince her to slide the chome doohickey under the inside door handle.
I had another woman claim her car ('92 Buick) locked her in and she used one of those wide base ceramic coffee mugs (like they use in the Navy) to bust the windshield from the inside. It being laminated glass, she was unable to break it out. She claimed the locks 'suddenly' started working again, had it towed in and refused to pick up the car for 3 weeks, then was pissed because the Buick rep wouldn't buy her a windshield or pay for a rental car.
