    Likely save what I can, maybe new shocks for the Civic, the state will want a check more than likely so they get theirs first.

    that is true... but the other side of the equation is the little amt that I would pocket if I claimed more deductions would just get ped away ... this way I at least get a lump sum to play with ... which I wouldn't have had with the extra each payday

    Same here,probably 5 digits since I'll get a 1099 for the Range Rover I won. That may bump me up a bracket too.
