So I went out to my grandma's farm today to work on my tractor project. I keep some of my parts and other various things in the old greenhouse that isn't used anymore. So I look inside today and see that my '82 Kawasaki LTD 550 is gone. First thing that pops into my head was that one of my uncle's cronies who mow my grandma's grass during the summer. But then, my buddy reminded me that during the fall last year there were a string of houses that had been broken into and my grandma's was one of them. The greenhouse isn't locked and it never really crossed my mind that the bike would get stolen because in my mind it still needed some work before it could be put back on the road.

I guess it's not really a loss, I got it for free, and I didn't have a title to it. It's just frustrating knowing that someone just up and took it.

At least they left the Johnson Rotary Snowmobile.

it pulls at your dna--but you have to believe they needed it more than you--or something--are you a teenager? why havent you moved your crap out of your gms? theres an old saying--if you cant afford to store it-you shouldnt have it.

Yeah I know the feeling, I had 10 rims stolen recently, the worst part is it was by someone who had access...yeah a so called friend did this to me.

I still have stuff at my grandma's because I live in a condo without a basement or full size garage to put all my crap. My grandma doesn't care, it gives me an excuse to come and visit her. When I do buy a house sometime in the future, then I can get it out of my grandma's place.

If he has free storage at his Grandma's, then he can afford to store it. And just because he gets it for free doesn't mean he can't afford it otherwise.

I think it's a great excuse to spend time with grandma. Plus I understand the condo living and no room. Covers both in one.

I lived with my grandma for a while. Why? Because she needed the help. For my part, I was glad to get to spend some more time with her.

And stealing stuff is OK because you need it? Or because the owner is a teenager?

Further, he could afford to store it. It was being stored, and he wasn't going broke over it. Therefore, by definition, he could afford to store it.

Right. The guy that stole my grandfather's guitar needs it more than me. I'm sure he's putting it to good use. Same with the power tools; building housing for the homeless obviously. And he's surely using the the computers to save the world from spammers and hackers.

Well, then, I hope the person who stole two tool sets (left the other two) out of my APARTMENT is enjoying them, because obviously I couldn't afford to store them.

YOU are the one that got it stolen. Clearly it's YOUR fault! Why did you do that? The criminal who stole it bears no responsability. Hello, they're a CRIMINAL - that's what they do! This one is on you. That would hold up in court too.

In the beginning of February, some dirt sucker broke into my crappy little car and tore up the dashboard so they could get my 2 year old, $100 when new, CD player out. I spent more, quite a bit more, just getting the window fixed than I did for the CD player.

My cousin had some idiot cut through the top of his VW to steal some CDs tucked in his visor.. The door was unlocked in an attempt to prevent such damage.

Tape deck, casette adapter, mp3 player. Never have to worry about some douche doing a couple hundred in damage to get 50 dollars in cds.
