    This is an Austin Seven

    This is an American Austin (a licensed copy)

    This is a 1933 Datsun Type 12

    It was not licensed, but other than the suicide doors the body looks like an Austin. Early datsuns matched the Austin in wheelbase, track, horsepower, displacement, etc. If I could find a photo of the correct year of Austin sedan, the grills would nearly match, too. (...but I'm feeling too lazy to spend any more time looking.)

    Wasn't the Comet = Falcon in the 60s?

    Comet = Mercury

    Falcon = Ford

    Maverick was a different Ford body style.

    Early 70's Comet was the same car as the Maverick. 60s Comet was the same as the Falcon. Google "1974 Comet" and see.

    Hell, I give up with GM. Their divisions are just clones of each other at this point for the most part!

    Same point I was going to make. Seems to me that 1977-2000 or so GM only built like three different cars... ;-)
