i have some ideas for a few models i want to build. What would i need to do to get the parts roughed out from a sheet of styrene? Depending on the price it seems like it would save me a bunch of work. I'm thinking something like the one in the link blown up to 1/25 scale.

First step is to draw the cutting lines in DXF form, if possible - some shops will take other vector formats including PDF, but it needs to be a vector form. Best place to look for a laser cutting shop would probably be the Thomas Register:

They're kind of like an industrial Yellow Pages.

I do believe Paul/SVREX was just mentioning his ability to laser cut plastics. Hit him up!
