One of my road race customers wants to try an Electro Hydraulic Power Steering Pump.

I've seen these TRW units: Link to EHPS

Anyone know the source of these pumps? I know the Gen 2 MR2's had them (they were remote reservoir), but I'd almost like to try to keep it all as one unit.

Astra, MINI, S2000 off the top of my head, Yaris and Cobalt have the electric column you might use instead.

Seems to me the column would be better because you would need to to somthing about a power steering rack with resulting complexity, expense, and a possible change in ratio. Or you would need a hydralic ram and a way to actuate it.
