So I was trying to do some copper plating and I mixed up my positive and negative cabels. Now my copper acetate is green and the copper is having a hard time staying attached to the pice im plating. It will get on it but its flakey and wipes off. Do I just need to make more copper acetate or is something else wrong?

    Thanks Robert

I think you need to start all over. Clean the semi plated metal with muriatic acid to get all traces of previous effort off, rinse, repeat. Verify polarity, then verify polarity again. New batch of bath water as well.
