Except that the people who get lots of money, equipment, and time thrown at them aren't just plucked up randomly.
Yeah, we could all be much cooler drivers than we are if we had these sort of resources, but the people who get them generally earn them.
They distinguish themselves at lower levels through hard work, skill, and talent. Only once they are noticed for having these things do they get benefactors who enable them to devote all their time into being really cool people.
Many of them do have an advantage of being raised with it from a young age. Maybe you could have been as cool a driver if you were racing carts since before you could ride a bike, but you probably weren't racing carts that early, and they were.
And having money and free time doesn't necessarily lead to being that cool. Think of all the big celebrities who spend lots of time and money to play with the big boys of racing. Their skill and talent levels don't match that of the professional racers, and it shows the times they tick off.
Personally, I also love Block's attitude whenever I see him in a video. He's just... cool. Doesn't seem overly aggressive, competitive, or like he has anything in particular to prove. He's just having fun and has lots of skill. Just, cool.
