Jetsprints were an occasional offering on the SpeedVision, the precursor to SpeedTV. Always great fun!

It's like a water-borne combination of autocrossing and rallying with high-HP V8's spewing high volume water plumes for motive power; way cool.

    Thanks for the links!

It's way more fun to watch than most motorsport, too. From a car guy standpoint, you keep expecting the thing to lift or brake or something to make that 90 left, but no, 80 MPH right on through the corner. I heard at the last event I spectated that they were pulling 9G...

    In reply to mike:

I used to love watching those races on Speedvision. I was always amazed at how flat and quick they turned.

GoPro used an onboard video for their commercials. The guy gets it wrong and flips into a corner station.

Now only if they found bodies of water wide enough to have multiple boats...

Wow, I'm not going to describe a car that can't handle as a "boat" ever again. Those things are awesome.

Not a big boat guy.... but anyone who can spin theirs out is OK by me.

I love the onboard cam! It's like you stuck a camera on the side of a shifter kart on a foggy day and played the recording back at double speed.

That's pretty awesome. Showed some of my drinking buddies last night and they were all dumbfounded.
