I would really like to see this work, and find a way that I can sneak into. I am just a bit cynical because there are hundreds of "Done deals" for all kinds of great events around here that never materialize of come off half assed. I would like to be proven wrong.

There is a part of me that thinks the whole thing is a way to Jersey State Police to make money, and half way through qualifying they will come out and ticket all the cars for speeding and being unregistered claiming they were never notified of any race and that some of the permits don't appear in order.

Honestly, I think a vintage event at this venue would be much better (and cheaper and simpler to set up). The old cars are easier to understand, the drivers are easier to see and with low-tech suspension there's MORE SKIDDING!

The PVGP is a great event and the community really benefits from it.

They worked on a Camden vintage street event (near the battleship New Jersey) a while back, but it hasn't come to pass.
