I've "turned off" the posts from a ton of people for such reasons. Once you've seen the bikini pics of a hot chick there is no need to know what days she is mystery reader at her kid's school.

Another E36 M3ty thing is college football updates. I am sick of hearing my pasty white, chubby little accounting friends brag about how they kicked Auburn's ass. Updates like "CALL HOLDING DUMBASS REF" are pretty unnecessary too.

Yup. Trim down who your "friends" are, and it makes life better.
I'm starting to like it more for knowing what businesses I like are doing. Like, I found out North Coast is doing a special release of aged Old Rasputin. Found out last night that it was the 2nd anniversary party for one of my favorite tap houses in the region, and they had some amazing beers (Angel's Share, Temptation, 4 Calling Birds...) on tap. So went out to that last night.

OH DEAR GOD! I don't dare even log in on days there are UofO games. If I wanted or cared to know who or what was robbed in a handegg contest I would turn on a TV.
