Finally picked this game up and can't help but realize it's strikingly familiar to BIOSHOCK. I almost feel like I am playing a continuation of it lol. Not that it is a bad thing but not what I was expecting.

Played it for like 3 weeks and got bored.

Unlike Fallout 1&2, there is nothing that drives me wander, besides finding bigger guns or more money, and for the most part, I don't encounter beings that I know I shouldn't attack (unlike Deathclaws in Fallout 2).

I just spent so much time walking around pointlessly, knowing that there was probably some mission that I had to do in order to proceed in the game, that I just gave up playing at all.

I enjoyed Fallout 3 immensely, in fact I was kind of bummed when I set into motion the chain of events that lead to the end of the game, because I wasn't done exploring. At some point I'll load from an earlier save point and finish things off.

I do feel ya on the Bioshock similarity, but like you said, not a bad thing.

I needed another game where I could explore, I've been playing COD4 and COD:WAW along with NCAA Football 09 for the past 3-4 months, confined to a limited amount of space in both of those games.

Do none of y'all just hop in your car and drive around aimlessly? Bonus points if you just moved to a new and unfamiliar area. Double bonus if you get a gun pointed at you, (happened when I first moved to Flint, MI for college).

i did that for 3 years delivering pizza. I had enough of the random driving adventures doing that, I once had someone try and rob me with a butter knife, I along with the customer I was delivering to, kicked the guys ass, got a nice tip too for not f'ing up the pizza in the mess.

Sleep is over rated as well, I like to get the most out of my days as possible after almost losing my life on I-75 a few years back. After school or work, then the gym, then working on the car or taking pictures, I bust out the xbox if I don't have school chit to do, I also need something to do at the girlfriends house as well.

I used to do it at work all the time. The complants used to bother me a little but not as much as the occasional low drive thru window.

    I <3 Fallout 3.

I'm waiting for all the DLC to come out, then I'm gonna get it all and do an "evil" playthrough.

While she is watching her crappy shows: American Idol, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, etc. I purchased a nice little 22inch HDTV and a used xbox360 so I have something to do while I'm there. When the lights go off thats a different story...........

I can't remember the last time I played a video game. Stuped full time work and grad school, oh and kids, and the food pantry I volinteer at, and my wife wanting to spend time with me.

All that E36 M3 gets in the way.....

a couple of summers ago I flew to DC and helped my brother convert his basement into his office/game room/mix master DJ area. This was due to the fact that he had a kid, wife, work, and came home and had no place to retreat. Maybe this is what you need to do Eric.

This game rocks, I got it for Christmas and although I already compleated the main task, I'm playing freeform and love it even more, playing totally evil and doing what I want. Exploring in this game is the most fun part of it for me, the goals are secondary.
