What is that, an S10? Looks cool but I wouldn't want to drive or ride in it....

Way cool, but it is way too low to ride in at all.

Sweet but I would lose the roof.

  • Feb. 25, 2009 3:06 p.m. stumpmj Dork

I'd daily drive that. It just needs lights.

Awesomeness! It is the minimum hot rod! It totally needs the roof. That rear 3/4 view is perfect.

I'll bet it's bagged. It's just at show height. But it's never going to be practical, so all of you guys looking for a Canyonero are probably not the intended target.

I see that with a funny car cage sticking out the driver side and me wearing an old Gasser mask while driving it back and forth to work.

I am 6' 3" so I would have to cut a hole in the roof to fit.

For some reason, the first thing that popped into my head was the LS1 blender that Jeremy (had) built on Top Gear!

Hot Rod Magazine had a VW beetle that bothered my neck thinking about it. So cool though....

It's not wrong, it's just very, very different and I don't understand it. But yay for diversity

Oh I might have to get one of those prisms for my sammy. I always have trouble seeing the lights in it.

It isn't wrong at all. I dig it. While something similar would be cool, that particular specimen is a little too extreme for me though.

Is that a TPI motor? what do you think that thing weighs? 0-60 would be "traction limited", I think .

That Beetle was called "Death". There's some cool pics & vid of the build online. It sounds badass too.

The only thing that jalopy needs is a coat of flat black and me driving it.
