My understanding is no - made in Turkey, from what I read, so I'd bet the Doblo will come to the US with back seats and side glass in the same way the Transit does.
I also read the Alfa-Dodge car will be 'based' on the Alfa platform, but will be widened and the wheelbase extended for the US market.

I agree with you Grant. Aside from a few cars.. (the viper and Neon SRT4) I cannot think of anything worth while that came out of them since the US Government bailed them out in 1980

Well with the Work Up, they could probably get away with what Chevy and Ford did for the LUV and Courier back in the 70's and import it as a "Chassis Cab", then put the beds on here in the US.

It's a possible idea... The deal killer may be the final price. I would not be surprised if it would cost more than a base full-sized Ram.

I don't know whether it's Ford's usual "we will de-content succeeding years" plan at work, or the Euro to Dollar ratio, but the Transit Connect's price has stayed about the same since it was introduced 2 years ago. Unfortunately, items that were formerly standard equipment are now becoming options. Case in point? Cruise control was once standard on XLT versions (van and wagon) then it was standard on vans, now it's optional on both.
Since the Doblo will be built in Turkey, like the TC, expect prices to be similar or equipment levels to become the deciding factor...at least at the Doblo's intro.

TC's have always been possible w/ back seats. There is now even a taxi cab package which moves that rear seat back just a little more.

I liked the (turbo) K cars, but if you were to ask me to name 3 current Chrysler products, I'd have a hard time doing it.
