Jalopnik has started a voting system for the nine cars to be included in a DLC pack for Forza 3, sometime this summer. Jalopnik has a tenth car that will be in the pack, but they're holding that for a suprise. There are 3 different rounds of 20 cars each, and the first vote was yesterday. Sometime today, they will be putting up the next three sets of 20.

    http://jalopnik.com/5455862/jalopnik-forza-motorsport-3-partner-on-two-new-car-pac...

BTW, some of the cars I voted for were a Lotus 11, an RX-3, Sentra SE-R, 323 GTX, 1965 Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR, Alfa Romeo GTV/6, and a Fiat X1/9.

Seems like they've posted a new thread about Monday's winners, so hopefully the vote threads for today go up soon.

Yeah, I'm not happy with the DeLorean making it in over the SE-R and the 323 GTX (and in 2nd place no less).

Eh... i'm ok with this one. Sad about the St165 and the 323 GTR the most, though.

i can't believe the 66 nova didn't make it, all they have are the rounded out muscle cars in the game, none of the boxy muscle cars that started out the era.

I said the same thing over at sr20-forum. The DeLorean is a case study in style over substance. It's popular because it was a Hollywood darling. I'm curious how obscure that car would be if it weren't for BttF.

THey should provide an LS1 swap for the DeLorean it would make the world go round twice as fast.

Anyone else think the first group of cars today is full of win? I do...Fiero? 450 SLC AMG? 2002? GSX? T-Bird? Espirt?

Nowhere does democracy suck the greatness out of the world more efficiently than on the Internet. It's almost as if people looked at these lists with the intent of selecting the cars that would be most likely to turn up in a video game eventually anyway. The misfits, the weird, the ugly, and the real-world attainable have mostly been culled from the list. So help me god if the Cossie Escort gets voted off the island in the subsequent rounds.

The f'ing Taurus SHO got voted....No where in my mind is there a reasonable doubt that Turn10 would have never chosen that car to be in the game, no where. So this statement is in fact false.

I don't know... at least a DeLorean is a nicely finished car... I've seen Lemons racers that look better than some original-condition Bricklins that have been at shows.

Yeah... It looks like the vast majority of hte cars I voted for didn't make it either...

Would everyone please vote for the Elise 190 in today's group 5? This one matters to me - there's no way any road-legal car will be so highly tuned now.

Maybe we can get a GRM DLC pack?

It's really frustrating to me to see these cars getting voted in that already have very similar versions in the game already.

Forza doesn't need 7 WRXs, 5 Evos and 17 GT-Rs, what it needs is some VARIETY.

I'm already planning on being pissed off tomorrow when I'll see the Cobra II has been voted off.

There was some commenter on Jalopnik bemoning the absense of some obscure bmw M3 -- the game already came with 11ty billion versions of the M3 do we really need more???

You guys know that if your using "private browsing mode" in firefox or crome you can vote often right?

You will need to relaunch the private browsing window every time you vote but....

Agreed about having 10 different versions of each car. Do we need another Civic in the game as well? No, another Camaro? No. Another 240? No. I knew all those Evos and Subarus would go through, those two crowds of people seem to live on the internet more than any other car enthusiast sub-culture (and yes I said sub-culture who cares if it's politically incorrect).

Seriously, I mentioned something like this in another thread not too long before Jalopnik came up with this idea. I think it'd be great. This mag already did something for Forza by talking about how great the game is, so unless that was a paid advertisement, time for them to do something for us.

The cars chosen are really disappointing...just dupes of cars available in other games instead of something new.
