That hand is a girl's. A girl who built a 69 Camaro herself. And she beats the hell out of it too. Hence the 4 speed.

Yes, I know it's Liz Miles' hand in the photo... Just trying to poke some fun. And it's a 68 Camaro.

Oh, I know it's Otto Mattick- but I still like PRNDL better.

Oh Liz Miles, I'm glad you exist. Good looking enough to get a job in a male dominated industry, but skilled enough to be if she wasn't.

Not too much older than I, but way, way out of my league. Better with a welder, too.

I am still trying to find someone who will do a invisible-ink tattoo. Nothing visible to the naked eye, but under a black light they appear. I think alien symbols, or barcodes would be cool. Perhaps a treasure map.

    In reply to pinchvalve:

Ink that was only visible under black light was coming around in 92. When I was at a shop getting a tattoo the guy next to me was getting a skull on half his face done. Aside from the fact that the recipient of said tattoo was the kind of 80's buttrocker that thought it was a travesty that Motley Crue wasn't played on the radio enough and that a skull covering half his face was a good idea it was kind of clever. He kept talking about all the "chicks he'd score" when walking through clubs and the skull would glow through his long stringy 80's glam metal hair.

Sadly the "artist" he contracted to do the work was a guy who went by the moniker Sarge and was known for drilling deep. The dude looked like he went riding without a helmet and road rashed up the side of his face when I left the shop. I hope it healed up nicely and he doesn't look like a burn victim now.
