Kid was being a kid, Mall Cops were doing their job. Man up, suing someone for money isn't going to bring your kid back.

How do they put a price on the life of their son? Is the money going help them heal? We live in a sue-happy nation.

I will add that I have noticed that the same people who cant seem to find a belt and pants that fit also often just walk or run across the street and expect other cars to avoid them.

What ethical attorney in his right mind would take this, knowing the facts? Oh wait, I said "ethical attorney". I forgot, they are an endangered species.

I'm glad I don't live where someone selling drugs is considered just being a kid!

Honestly, I am surprised the parents aren't suing the maker of the SUV for having an inadequate braking system. In this day and age, it seems that everyone with deep pockets gets dragged in.

(I bet half of the board members here could have braked/swerved and missed the poor kid. Further proof that having a Solo II car as your DD can save lives!)

I do it, so other people can sleep well at night, meanwhile, I'm up all night fighting demons, just screaming bloody murder, waking up with nosebleeds, night terrors, finding myself a mile from home with bloody feet and a gun in my hand I have no idea how I got there, but pound for pound, I'd say there's not one human being in this mall that deserves this coffee as much as myself.

he was running, for his life. from a golf cart?....its kinda like evading a steam roller

Of course Im not advocating the death of a kid., but seriously, he ran into traffic like a friggin idiot. He was running for his life? from what? A few overweight hourly guys who really dont care enough to chase him on foot? Whats the worst that was gonna happen? If he didnt steal, or hurt someone, or commit some other crime, then why the hell would he be running? especially for his life. Theres more going on than what we are reading.
