Someone on facebook mentioned how at the closing cerimonies he said the best thing was the inflatable beavers... I didn't see it with my own eyes, but it made me laugh...

I had to laugh the other day when my history prof commented how he hated Costas during one of his morning rants before actually starting lecture.

Bob Costas was a bit of a dick on the Colbert Report. Colbert interviewed him and the crowd came close to boo'ing him twice.

He's an announcer for TV sports coverage in the US, and an early adopter of the "piss and moan" school of journalism. Sports coverage in the US is even worse than what passes for news here.
