Is it so hard to pull all the way to the furthest pump? If there are two pumps in a row, don't stop at the first one!

They didn't see the second pump because it was outside of their own little universe.

Hi-temp guy: Actually it's pretty much impossible.

Throw a lit smoke into a bucket of gas and it'll put the cig out. There's not enough heat there to light the fumes.

Throw a lit match in and it's a different story.

The warning is a blanket thing or you'd have some idiot lighting up while looking into the filler neck.

I didn't even realise how old it was.

Nice bit of newbie necroposting on my part. Sorry guys!

I hate when you're being polite while waiting for a pump at peak hours. You hang back to allow others to leave or park if they need the skigamerettes. And them some turd cuts in front of you. To important or ignorant to notice. Ungh!

Thats when you lay on your airhorns until they get the message or finish getting there gas an dbeing completely embarassed.

Miata- driver's side, 2002- passenger side, Mini- both sides.

I don't have a car with the filler behind the plate.

'63-67 Corvettes had filler in center of rear deck. Seems like that was the location on 'Vettes thru 1980 or so but I'm not sure. It was convenient. I've seen that on other cars too but don't recall what they were.

Yep, it was on the C3 Corvettes up through '82 as well.
