"The blood-thirsty pair record each kill with a gruesome picture, posing happily with the unlucky animal."
Two young, rich, girls enjoy hunting. They claim to use all the meat they kill. Doesn't seem to bad to me. However wiping the animals blood on your face? A tad excessive.
Very cool.

'My parents introduced me to the outdoors,' Sara said. 'They didn’t want us growing up playing video games and eating potato chips.'
Instead, Sara has travelled to Africa to hunt exotic game and across North America in pursuit of wild sheep.
Wow, truly these children are being raised completely wrong.
Yeah, the smearing blood thing is a bit weird. The photo with the grizzly bear is the most amusing to me. It's like she holding a big happy teddy bear... with blood on it.
Oh... and look on the front page of that site. Wow, are they crazy.

it was in a British magazine, of course it was going to portray it as barbaric. it is a story about kids that shoot things with guns- something that i'd wager isn't all that common in Britain..

'When we hang out they never really like to hear how I shot, killed and then gutted a ram or bear with my bare hands.'
hahaha awesome!

Maggie Thatcher could kill a grizzly with her bare hands and a stern look. What happened to Britain?

As is their tendency to draw attentions away from their own societal failings.

I am willing they will grow up fine.. at least they will not be into drugs, sex, and having kids way too early.
Guy I work with has gone all over the world hunting. his house gives me the creeps with all the stuffed animals in it. Everywhere you look.. things stare at you..

I'm not into stuffing animals, nor am I into hunting. But I honestly don't see anything odd about them hunting. Even the blood on the face, I'm sure a lot of guys have been dared to do the same thing. The only thing I find disturbing is what they are hunting. I'm a bit of a tree-hugger, so killing some of those animals that are close to or maybe even alread endangered is something I'm not all for.
But to the same effect, I do drive my 5.0L V8 every day, my truck is from 1961 and has no concept of what carbon emissions are, and I run leaded race fuel in my Celica.....so it's not like I'm some angel of the Earth either.

the number of animals that may be hunted is tightly monitored in the US, so no real danger of hunting to extinction anymore. I don't hunt either, (too lazy) but certainly support those who do. That article was a bunch of opinionated crap! These girls will turn out just fine. They have seen more of the world and experienced more cultures that most of us ever will.

I think its cool that these girls are out there hunting, around here it is nothing out of the norm. Heck the big game reg book for Oregon has a girl with a kill on the front of it this year. Many times the first kill is to a woman out here. My girl friend can out shoot most men that I know.
I'm all for hunting for meat and have no problems taking trophies as long as it is not the only purpose for the hunt. But then again I do leather work so I would use hides, bones, antlers and horns in that. I have a 6 foot tall freezer on the porch and another out in the shop for meat.
I'm actually trying to decide if I can take the time to go get an elk this winter since I just picked up a new Weatherby. Sadly could not get a deer tag out here this year(controled hunt in this area but not on the west side of the state).
