FYI everytime it takes forever to load a GRM page it always tells me it's waiting on google-analytics.

Even when it's loading pretty fast if I watch the bottom of the page google-analytics is the piece that takes the longest to load.

    That is all.

A while ago I decided to leave Google Analytics off my NoScript whitelist. It's just a JS-based version of Alexa when you think about it.

That should go away pretty quickly; it's something that happens when we make site changes as the googlebot goes through the site and collects information on the site. This helps folks who search for information about autocrossing, Mazda Miatas, or hotlinked photos find us.

Google Analytics was driving me crazy on the new iMac I bought... everything was either hanging up... or the page would load and was visible for an instant... before disappearing. I tried adblocker, and a couple of other add-ons for Firefox with only marginal success, until I downloaded NoScript. It works great! You can choose what to allow, temporarily if you like. No more issues.
