Anybody else notice that you cannot hit enter after typing a search? It won't search, I have to actually click the search button. Is there any way to fix this, or is it just me?

It doesn't happen all the time, only about half the time, and I can't figure out when it will search and when it won't.

Maybe I shouldn't complain about something so trivial as it searches trillions and trillions of websites in a nanosecond for my meaningless car information, but it gets annoying after years of doing it a certain (better) way.

It's fine here too, but because of the way Google rolls out changes it can affect some people and not others. That would be a really weird and out-of-character thing for google to do, though.

After playing around with it some, I have more information on when it does it.

-Only in Google Chrome (not firefox or i.e.)
-When the suggested searches come up, if I keep typing until there are none left it won't search by the enter.
For example, if I type Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, I can search. If I type Chevrolet Corvette zr1 images, I cannot search
-it only happens on the Google Home page.

Its not that big of a problem. Just annoying, and uncharacteristic of google.

If you're running Windows XP / Vista (sorry), press Win+U, run the On-Screen keyboard and try using that.

(although after reading through your posts some more it doesn't sound like a hardware problem)

Nothin. Eh... I'll just deal with this minor inconvenience and hope google will fix it, although it might make me go crazy and I'll have to sue google for millions so I can pay for all the psychiatric work i'll need after the crazyness of it all.
