Try it, its pretty neat. And while it might seem a little stupid (I certainly thought it was when I first saw it), I've found myself using it quite a bit. Works best with bigger monitors.

I'll add a screenshot later, but can't get to Flickr because its blocked on the internet I'm using right now.

Edit: Just found out google has pictures.

the only thing I don't like is that there are no controls for the individual screens once you click onto a link. There is no back button or HTTP bar.

Yeah, that is a little annoying, but the backspace for page back works, as does right clicking. And just FYI, that little green arrow in the top left of each google window can take you to a specific URL

It basically opens four browser windows in one. I find it useful if I'm looking up stuff for a paper and need to quote several sources. Or craigslist.

For the most part I do agree, but if you use the tabs a lot (I usually have 2-9 open at a time) you will find a time for the googlegoogle

    Nope- no surrender.

I thought it was flat out weird the first time I saw it.

I STILL think it is flat out weird.

    Just good for a laugh.

Yikes! I can't handle the information overload. Maybe if I had a bigger screen this would work well. It's pretty cool though. Could be useful for trying out different searches and keywords at the same time.

If you enter googlegooglegooglegoogle.com into each of the 4 browsers, they will open 4 more (16 total at once).

It will work at the next level as well (64 windows total), but good luck reading anything.

It did, however, make my daughter giggle.

One click on my Macbook does the same thing. 4 different windows that can run 4 different programs. I thought all computers could do it, it is quite handy.

Wow, sort of like opening four windows and sizing them to 1/4 of the screen.

As long as you are playing with this, you mind as well try this one too:

    www.mysterygoogle.com

Regardless of what you search, it will give you the response to whatever the PREVIOUS google search was, somewhere in the world.

Some people use it like a Ouiji board, like, "Mystery Google, will I find love?". (for which I just got the response, "fat people shold be blamed for climate change).

I figure it's much too dangerous to play with for too long- there's far too many weirdos out there making searches for things that I probably don't want to see.

I'll wait for you guys to bring those links to this forum.
