came back from the doctors and they found another blood clot in my leg. the last one was a DVT(deep vien thrombosis) this one isnt but it is just as bad.. genetic disorders suck.. and it friggin hurts.. i have to take lovanox injrections twice a day on top of cumodin.. well there goes my diving class.. at least that is what the dr said.....BLAH.

Well, you could be a diabetic like me and have to do math ratios and stab your self with sharp object twice before eating anything.
(It sucks. Trying to make you feel better. Sounds like you and I were put together on God's Dodge/VW assembly line.)

ya it could be worse, no doubt. the injectio in and of its self isnt bad but when the meds go in its burns like you cant even imagine...so its back to bein cold all the time. and watchin what i do.. i cut myself i wil bleed like crazy.. had it happen the last time around.. ended up in the hospital a few times to get the bleeding stopped... oh so much fun.

The burning? Oh yeah! I describe it as bee stings in a syringe. First time that happened, I was like WTF?!? But you have to just suck it up and keep squirting it in, lest you run around with a needle dangling from your belly.

You have my deepest sympathy. I had one last year, not fun. No karting, no horse-back riding, and feeling like crap all the time. Constant nose-bleeds from the coumadin. But I'll tell ya, it sure put a scare into me, enough to make big changes in my lifestyle. No more 12 hours straight at the computer, cut out junk & coffee, and went back to the gym. I'm feeling better than I did 10 years ago. Hang in there.
