56 ford cab-over, 76 GMC motorhome front clip and rear axles (FWD), and 6,000 hours of labor. 1 man.
Air ride rear end. Fuel tank stored in one of the underbelly tool boxes. Onboard winch. Almost too pretty to use

Grassroots as is he did this all in his pole barn by himself.......guy was probably mid 70's
what an awesome ride. Who cares how bad the mileage is...
I really hope he uses it to haul lesser car haulers. It's big enough.

Right now if I had to do it again, Isuzu, ND, cab over 4 cylinder turbo diesel with a box, flares, dropped, satin black and red wheels and chrome stacks. If I live long enough, it's on my list...

Afew years ago, I did a security survey on an auction place outside of Tampa. Dealt with insurance wrecks. They had several late model motor homes that had either rolled or burned, any of which would have been great donors for a project like these. Low mileage, modern power, dirt cheap. You could put almost any cab on top and have a ball. I really like the Ol' Timey COE for a conversion like that. Lot's of room for a flat bed for the race car. And titled as a motor home.
