And we also use Andre's quite a bit, especially for alignments: http://andresautomotive.com/

They're also in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Here's where I go: (Southeast Minnesota)

    Diercks Foreign Auto
    815 Country Club Rd.
    Byron, Minnesota 55920 (507) 775-6501

They focus on VW & Audi, but are great for Saab, Mercedes-Benz (one tech is a Mercedes-Benz guy), BMW, Volvo, Porsche, plus Japanese makes and domestics. Bard, the owner, just rebuilt the front suspension on my '72 MG Midget, and did a great job. Labor rates are much less than the dealership, and they are honest and competent.

I can't give a higher recommendation than this:

City: Bellevue (Seattle area) State: Washington Name of Shop: LBR Automotive Website: http://www.lbrautomotive.com/ Contact name: Sean Medcroft, Lead Tech

Note: I'm really just recommending Sean Medcroft here; I simply don't know any of the other techs. But Sean really is an awesome tech and a true car guy/enthusiast. He's an incredibly talented, incredibly thorough, incredibly dedicated and capable, and completely certified. At the shop he handles all kinds of stuff, including lots of higher end euro and exotic stuff. Other shops even bring stuff to him when they can't figure crap out. He has personally owned and built all kinds of stuff... bikes, motorcycles, Merkurs, Corvairs, Mopars, Volvos, Toyotas, Audis, a '70s custom van, etc. He's also raced BMX, motocross, rally, drifting, auto-x, time attack, etc., including appearing in Seattle leg of the World Rallycross Championship this past year (2wd class). And he's currently building another XR4TI stage rally car (after totalling his previous), fabricating almost everything himself (except the cage). He's developed his own completely custom, custom fabricated adjustable suspension stuff, diff conversions, etc. He's the real deal.
