Reminder:

Tomorrow is Moonshiners ROC. Pretty much a show off race for TC. See how much you have improved since the start. As I remember I barely beat out Grea in the initial race, I don't really expect a repeat of that... I think Grea has my number at this point... of course, I am driving a different car...

There is a bit of "business" between Celica and I for 4th place, so we will see if he shows .

Shuffle should be interesting. I still don't know if the cars will shuffle between tracks, but they should. I am thinking 480 is a good pp setting. I do want to test to make sure that is not the "luxury yacht" setting though.

Shuffle for tomorrow is going to be at 460pp. Shuffle also seems to stick when changing tracks.

460 seems to have a good selection of sporty, but no too powerful cars. It does of course also have the BTR in the mix, so I thought it was appropriate for that also. When testing I did remember that Spy and I had a pretty good dual with two BTRs at Moonshiners. Would have been close but I stupidly tried to take the 2nd to last high speed corner at full throttle and got a nice power oversteer spin in return.

BTW - You can practice shuffle in your lounge and get the shuffle to shuffle by changing a setting (e.g. PP level) then changing it back.

Oh yes, I forgot about that. Anyone can participate in the ROC. The "invite" thing was when we where thinking there would be a huge crowd of people.

So, don't worry about it, show up. Try not to run Celica or I off the road if we are dueling, but other then that go crazy!

I will update the info.

Ugh.

I like how my car is fantastic in practice, and I can take corners full throttle. Once the race starts, however, taking corners at full throttle makes me push Air off the track and slide into the grass. In practice, my cars tires lasted 7 100% laps. In the race they were gone in 5.

This E36 M3 is getting annoying.

I did pretty damn good in the Shoofle, until I got a damn Mustang that topped out at one hundred and berkeleying twelve miles an hour at RMDs high speed track.

I have no idea why they include those things in shuffle. They're nearly useless unless you can change the gearing and trans.

BTW, I like the Nissan you were in tonight. Looks good.

I have a suspicion that i won Shuffle last night. Air, confirmation?

FTO didn't have enough horsies to get it done at Moonshiner's Run. Ran the first 11 laps on RH, switched to RS and made it through the end of the race closing hard, but it wasn't enough. I made up 40 seconds on the leader laps 12-17 i believe.

Thought i had Air licked when i started coming up FAST on a car on lap 15, since i saw that he had pitted one lap before the halfway point, figured maybe he ran out of tire. Nope... 'twas Ricky Bobby. Oh well.

Results are in:

You are correct, with 2 wins and 3 second places Celica takes the win in Shuffle, but Bael was VERY close behind with 3 wins.

Grea takes the ROC TC win (not surprising) and I edge out Celica to solidify my 4th place finish.

I also must apologize. I messed up last night. I wrote down a list of the tracks, but forgot we were ONLY running the custom ones. So we ended up running 10 races instead of 7! We were already running late with the connection issues, so we did go almost an hour over.

TC: Didn't do a lot of testing, but I was familiar with the track. I made an best guess with Race Mediums and went for it. I raced with Celica for a bit and finally got past him (not surprising since he was running RH and I had a better top speed).

I did shave a bit too much tire in the first few laps, so I had to pit a lap short of half way with very little tire left. Celica got past me at that point, but was only about 15 second up and was running well worn hard tires. I caught him quickly and he pitted soon after. No way I was catching Grea though, but I did take the lead for about a lap right before my pit stop.

Car ran pretty good at the track, but would destroy tires if it wasn't driven carefully.

Shuffle: I didn't run Origami, so that was a surprise, and I totally forgot about one of them. I was getting a bit loopy towards the end there. I actually paused in the middle of the Origami race because I forgot we had started, and I was in second at the time!

Shuffle was still fun and interesting as always. The "randomness" of the shuffle was a bit weird. We had two races that had two BTRs (I got none ), one had two Shelby S1's ,the other two Elises (!). I think I only got TWO non-4WD cars that whole series (a Shelby S1 and a 69 Charger).

Mt A-hole was fun as usual, but I totally forgot to turn off damage and penalties, so that made it interesting (I believe I landed on an Esprit at some point). The Subaru I had there could really blast through parts of that track. It was not terribly difficult to do a full 4 wheel drifts through the first two turns at good speed!

Well, I hate to see the shuffle go. Maybe we can re-visit it again at some point, or do some shuffles if we have time after the regular races.
