They convinced me to try again and I've been doing fairly well so far, would like to race with some people I know would do well and not have to worry about the "i won't win so I'll take us both out on the last lap" guy. I got a sick deal on 3 months and it's a nice break from Forza. Also the continual cold/bad weather here in Florida is not allowing me to complete projects that need some sort of warm temperatures for the adhesives to work (paint).

Anyone want to start a private league?

I'd be in. We started doing some private hosted races with the 'real' racers over at Bimmerforums and it's been good fun. Talent levels vary widely and there's a constant battle of Solstice vs SRF hate picking which car to use, but it's all good fun. One thing we won't do again is Legend car at Lime Rock....that was just a crash fest.

I was in a practice session with Marcose Ambrose last night, which I thought was pretty awesome. But last night I was leading for about 9 laps and came up on a lap car and instead of just letting me by he tries racing me and then manages taking me adn the 2nd place car out because he is pushing so hard....still ended up with second place and a damaged car, but I hate that you have to deal with that, I don't even get that in Forza..

My "skill" level falls somewhere short of ddavid... I seemed to lose a few 10ths a lap to him everywhere we raced. I guess I don't practice enough - the real race car needs love before the season starts in April.

I'd be interested if we can agree on cars/tracks ahead of time to allow enough practice so everyone can have a reasonable expectation of finishing a race. The BF races tend to be announced the day of, and half the field hits reset on the 1st lap.
