    To the GRM web gurus,

As a web usability guy (this is how I pay for my big-boy toys), I think in the central panel on the home page, where you have the different articles, when you mouse over the image, it should give a description of the article/project.

I also think there should be a larger or more prominent link to the forum on the home page as I would guess that is where 75% of your repeat website traffic is going anyway.

    My $0.02

We have much more idea capacity than we have technical capacity at the moment. Implementing these (and dozens of other) ideas is a high priority, but we have to get some team issues settled first.

75% is a low estimate, but you're right on the usage model.

Thanks for the feedback. When we can effectively make solid changes in a reasonable time frame, you'll start seeing some real improvements to the site. Better days are around the corner!

    In reply to alex:

Once again, If the site were a bit more usable I might have found it sooner but thanks for illustrating my point. Perhaps feedback shouldn't be in the forum section - maybe a better place might be in the footer of every page and/or the contact us page. This way visitors who might not find there way to the "community" (which is hard for a novice to find anyway per my first suggestion) can still provide input, comments, complaints, kuddos, etc. as well - without having to register if they don't want to.

At any rate, thanks for the reply Tom. I'm sure you have your hands full and this is in no way a critique of how you do your job. You guys do monumental work and I appreciate it fully. Thow it down there somewhere on the to-do list if you think it's worth doing. I know how it is to try and manage a big site with lots of traffic, scope always creeping, requirements being a moving target, etc. You probably have an even bigger challenge with such a vocal and unrestrained audience.

    Keep up the good work!!!!
