unfortunately/fortunately I have a 1 and 3 year old to keep me young/feeling older than I actually am.

I actually just picked my old bass up yesterday and started playing some. Sure is easier to play along with a track when you can instantly play anything at all on your phone.

 I was never great even when I was gigging with some guys, but I have a great guitar. One owner '78 Fender P-Bass. Ow miles. Only played at church on Sunday. (no really)

I think I might try to find some folks to play with locally when this crap settles down.

Thanks for setting this up John and thanks for the offer David. Like everything cool there are so many facets to these things-pick-ups-active or passive, J or P, short scale, string types (WTF is a slinky), 4 string, 5 string, fretless, etc.

The Boy-Spawn is just learning guitar, and may want to pick up a bass, so the only thing I have to remember is the P-Bass.

Sorry phone battery died unexpectedly.  Well somewhat expectantly.  I knew it was low just thought it would last longer.
