Well, they are smarter than I thought. I saw a few groundhogs a few times a day, every day for the last 5 weeks or so. I picked up a gun last week and have only had two very quick glimpses in the last 6 days! Can they smell the lead or something????

I've found the pool does a good job of keeping them away. I end up with at least 3 or 4 a year bobbing in the pool or in the skimmer. My wife likes to rescue them though, so I have to distract her.
Also, a nice rat snake seems to help too, but it's a toss up which can dig the better hole.

Remington Model 700 SPS Varmint chambered in .243 Winchester usually does the trick for me...
