That has to be an April Fools Joke...because Insta-Belgian Ale sounds TERRIBLE.
I love Belgian beer...but that E36 M3 needs to age!

Ooh ooh pick me! I homebrew, but never did the Mr. Beer thing. From what I hear (from a couple homebrewing forums) it makes half-decent beer, and a good number of homebrewers start out with a Mr. Beer, but with a $100 investment in some homebrewing equipment, you can make stuff 900% better. I made my first batch with an $80 starter kit and $30 in ingredients. It's more work than a Mr. Beer, but it's worth it. My first batch was pretty decent, better than anything from InBev or MillerCoors, that's for damn sure.
Making your own beer is just as rewarding as working on your own car. The first sip of YOUR beer is the same experience of lowering your car off the jackstands after the first time you changed your car's oil when you were 16. It's awesome.
Then again...Insta-Stout is probably WAY less work than the all-grain oatmeal stout I brewed last month

I've tried a Mr. Beer. I found it in a thrift store with the ingredients, but it appears the yeast had died before I got it. Tried using someone else's beer kit and got results that could be vaguely recognized as beer. I since bought some of the official ingredients, and yep, it's decent stuff. Not top notch beer, but it works and could be used with other ingredients if I actually knew what I was doing.
