My grandfather has a story about meeting Elvis before he was really big. My grandfather was in the Navy and had to screen acts for an upcoming show for the sailors to be sure the material was suitable. Elvis was one of those acts, so Elvis gave him a bit of a demo.
But they ended up spending most of their time chatting about both having been semi-truck drivers and discussing shared experiences with similar equipment.
