It's mostly supercar rubbish, but the Top 10 is totally intriguing. Appearances by such GRM icons as the Audi TT, New MINI, Audi TT, and Lotus Elise.

I'd like to see, just once, the Impala SS. That car helped legitimize big cars and 4 doors as cool.
I pretty much agree with the article on many of them. Ford's GT just reiterates the slap-in-the-face that they delivered to Ferrari in the 1960s by doing it again in 2003--it's the only supercar that really deserves to be up there because maybe I can actually buy one some day. The Mustang was the most successful retro design that I can think of except for maybe the Mini. And BMW's 3 series has yet to be knocked off its throne that it has held since the 70s. I think Chris Bangle even did a pretty good job redesigning it (although it always takes him a year and a face lift to get his designs right). Of course, they had to mention the Miata. 
And J Mays is an automotive icon and it showed there since half of the cars on that list were his designs. I'd like to have a beer with him.
I don't think the NSX is up there because not many people really know what it is. Hell, even I don't know that much about it except that it goes very fast and doesn't have THAT much horsepower.

"Top 25 " is a totally different thing than "25 Most Iconic".
This article seems like less rubbish than most of these type. This one actually had a specific goal of judging cars purely on iconic design. In which case, I think it was quite good. It actually dipped into a number of different markets including SUVs and Sedans.
Actually... I can think of one glaring omission: the Dodge Caravan. Maybe not the prettiest, but an iconic and influential design.
not the list i would make. Ill concede there was some variety, but only a few of those of those cars would i consider truly iconic.. imo redesigns arent iconic, theyre nice and pretty cool, but theres a reason they decided to emulate an old body style, it because the original WAS iconic.. And a hummer h2? no, the AM General Humvee is iconic, not its cheaply made (but not cheaply price) simulacrum..
oh well, at least it gives us something to fight over.. 
I am thinking of a few they missed but my biggest pieve
why no McLaren F1 what is more Iconic than that?
Almost every thing is brand new in the past 10 years.

They first came out in 1984, so they're too old for this particular list.
How is the Zonda on that list? Or that Tata Nano? I wouldnt consider those cars iconic at all. The Lambo though, thats fairly iconic. I looked up iconic and icon just to see if I was off base. For icon one website dictionary said: "1. also i·kon (kn) a. An image; a representation. b. A representation or picture of a sacred or sanctified Christian personage, traditionally used and venerated in the Eastern Church. 2.
